Busserolles is in the corner of the Limousin (famous for beef) Charente (designated Cognac region) and Dordogne (considered the “stomach” of France). We are in the northmost tip of the PERIGORD VERT. The region is known for its cuisine. You will find fois gras, duck, confit and truffles. Many of the local restaurants specialize in regional faire. The cheese here is amazing (France has over 350 types of cheese).

There are also some fun bars where you can enjoy live music and local color.

There are lots of activities on site or within a short drive, plus many pleasant day trips.

•Swimming: pool located on premises , lake for swimming in our village of Busserolles.

•Bikes: Maps and suggestions provided. There are lots of marked trails for miles of biking pleasure.

•Hikes/Walks: numerous marked trails on the property and in the surrounding countryside, plus maps.

• Ping Pong, Badminton and other paddle games.

• Fishing: you can fish in the stream here on the property. We have surprisingly large fish in the stream (seasonal) additionally there is more fishing local throughout the region, with permits available at the village store.

Off site:

•Spa Services: massage and reflexology.

• Karting there is a WORLD CLASS karting course in near by Teyjat. It is FANTASTIC. France is not afflicted by litigation frenzy, thus the karts are fast and the track is FUN, FUN, FUN. A must try.

•Tennis: tennis court located in our village of Busserolles reservations required, so please let us know if you would like to reserve a date and time.
