This is a unique opportunity to enjoy two sides of France. The thrum of the city and the peace of the countryside. Champagne and caviar to wine and foie gras.

In the triangle formed by the Dordogne, Charente and the Limousin regions of Southwest France lies the friendly village of Busserolles. 300 meters from the pleasant village square, you'll find "La Maillerie, a 3-hectare country site with a 17th century, restored watermill. This authentic watermill is restored into three spacious, tastefully decorated and fully-equipped gîtes. Take your freshly-brewed morning coffee out to the private deck and plan your day while listening to the music of the water running past you. Breathe in the tranquility which surrounds you in the deep green of the aptly named Perigord Vert.

Arrive in Paris for the weekend. Spend a lovely two days in the city of lights. Monday morning, take a fast sleek train ride on the sleek TVG to Angouleme. Spend four tranquil days in the quiet French countryside, then depart Friday for a last hoorah in Paris.

Price includes hotel in Paris for 3 nights, and accommodations at La Maillerie (gite La Rive). You will be responsible for air and train fare. We can assist you with TVG bookings.
